Gardaí are continuing their investigations into retail crime in Kilkenny and further arrests have been made.
Two people were arrested earlier today in connection with the investigation. They are currently being detained at Kilkenny Garda Station.
Meanwhile another person has appeared in court charged in connection with retail crime in Kilkenny. The male was charged with 11 counts of thefts and released on bail subject to conditions.
The arrested were made as part of Operation Táirge, an intelligence-led operation that targets the most prolific perpetrators of retail crime.
