Bus transfers in place for rail passengers in Louth

BUS TRANSFERS will be in place for passengers on a major national rail route for a Monday evening service.

According to Irish Rail, the 5.13pm Pearse/Newry service on Monday evening will operate as a train service as far as Dundalk only.

A bus transfer will operate for passangers travelling further from Dundalk to Newry.

This is due to an operational issue, the national rail service provider said.
