The death has occurred of Jim McLaughlin of Wallace's Road, Blackrock, Louth and formerly of Derry City, Co Derry
Peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday 15 August 2024. Beloved husband of Reina (née Fletcher) and cherished dad of Paul, Sean, Jane and Martin. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Sarah, his grand-daughter Chloe and his brothers and sisters.
Jim will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, sons, daughter, sister Bridie Gallagher, sons and daughters in-law, his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, wonderful friends and by all who knew and loved him.
Reposing at his residence in Wallace's Road, Blackrock from 12 noon to 8pm on both Friday and Saturday. Removal on Sunday afternoon to St Fursey's Church, Haggardstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in adjoining Cemetery. House private on Sunday by family request. Family flowers only, donations please to the Birches Day Care.

The death has occurred of Margaret Mathews (née Carolan) of Smarmore, Ardee, Louth
Peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Thursday 15 August 2024. Predeceased by her daughter Ruth, her parents Phil and Mary Carolan, her infant brother Michael, brothers Sean and Pat, father and mother-in-law Paddy-and Alice Mathews, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Miriam and niece-in-law Lisa.
She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted family her husband Colm and children Barry, Sandra, Fiona and Edel, her cherished grandchildren Glen, Leah, Adam, Cian, Josh, Sarah, Noah, Senan, Maia, Erin and Jack, sons-in-law, sisters Rose, Anne, Jane and Mary, brothers Philip, George, Harry and Brendan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, good friends and neighbours.
Reposing at her residence on Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 8pm. House private on Sunday morning please. Removal on Sunday leaving her home at 9:30am to St. Catherine's Church, Ballapousta arriving for 10am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Palliative Care, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

Unexpectedly and peacefully at Silver Stream Nursing Home, Dundalk on Wednesday 14 August 2024. Predeceased by her husband Sean and son Michael, she will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted family Sean, Jennifer, Martin, Bernie and Noel, her cherished grand-children and great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and good friends.

Removal on Saturday morning leaving Finlay Funeral Home at 11:45am walking to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee arriving for 12 noon Funeral Mass. On 12 August 2024, unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by his parents Benny and Betty. Sadly missed by his family, his son Ryan, daughter Courtney and their mother Linda, brothers Martin, Bernard, Anthony, Ciaran and Gabriel, grandchildren Amelia and Skye, uncles Peter and Tony, aunt Maura, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
