The death has occurred of Thérèse Talbot (née Leonard) of Blackrock, Co Louth and formerly of Lucan, Co Dublin
On February 21,peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge. Beloved mother of Nicola, Colin, Francis and the late Alison. Adored grandmother, Taize, of Katie, Sophia, Alexander, James, Ashlee and Meghan. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, sisters Cepta and Carmel, brother Connie, grandchildren, son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Sarah and Chris, sister-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Friday evening from 4 pm followed by her removal to St. Mary’s Church, Lucan arriving at 6 pm. Funeral Mass at 12 pm on Saturday morning followed by burial in St. Loman’s Cemetery, Trim, Co Meath. Donations if desired to St. Vincent de Paul.

The death has occurred of Rose McKenna of Brook Street, Dundalk and formerly of Derrykinnigh Beg, Emyvale, Co Monaghan and San Antonio, Texas
Peacefully in the wonderful care of Silver Stream nursing home on Friday 21 February 2025. Beloved daughter of the late John and Annie, dear sister of Mary, Fr Peter, Benny, Eileen, Madge and Fr Enda and the late Packie, Annie, John and Joseph. Rose will be sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, sisters in law, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives, and friends in USA and Ireland.
Reposing at her sister Eileen Donnelly's home, Brook Street. Removal on Monday afternoon to St. Fursey’s Church Haggardstown, arriving for Mass at 2pm Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals 042 9334283.
The death has occurred of Michael Gerard (Gerry) O'Callaghan of Rathduff, Dundalk, Louth
In the wonderful care of Cúram Care Home, Dundalk. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Michael and brothers Jim and Desmond. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Eveline, sister Eileen, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk. Removal on Monday 24 February to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Brid-a-Crin, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
