The death has occurred of Sr Clare Ryan SSL of St. Louis Sisters, Nigeria and Dundalk, Louth
Peacefully, on July 31 2024, in the gentle, loving care of the staff of Cúram Care Nursing Home, Dundalk, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Maria, her brothers Paddy and George and her sister Marie. Deeply regretted by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, her St. Louis Sisters and Associates and her many friends in Dundalk, especially in Holy Redeemer Parish.
Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk, entrance on Castletown Road, from 4pm-8pm on Thursday 1 August. Prayers on Friday 2 August at 1.15pm, with removal at 1.40pm, driving to the Church of the Holy Redeemer, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castletown (Fatima), Dundalk. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.

The death has occurred of Sheelah Black (née O'Sullivan) of Ashgrove, Avenue Road, Dundalk, Louth; Athlone Co Westmeath; and Kiltoom, Co Roscommon
Peacefully on July 26 2024. Predeceased by her loving husband Donal (May 16th 1988), her two infant children and her beloved grandson Rossa, brothers Patrick and John, sisters Brigid and Johanna. Sheelah will be sadly missed by her children, Adrian, Mary, Patricia, Ruth, Rita and Donal, her 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
