The death has occurred of Robert VERNON Doylesfort Road, Dundalk, Louth
Peacefully, in his 96th year, in the dedicated care of the staff of Dundalk Care Centre. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret, parents Charlotte and James and siblings James, Dorothy, Frederick, Edwin, Gertrude, Grace, John and Eileen. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing daughters Ann (Byrne), Carolyn (McAdam), Bernadette (McKeon), Ursula (Duffy), Róisín (McCourt) and Angela, sons-in-law Oliver, Jim, Fintan, Gerard and Kieran, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Eithne, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Reposing at the family home (A91 R9W3) on Monday, June 23rd from 6pm-8pm and on Tuesday, June 24th from 2pm-8pm. Removal on Wednesday, June 25th at 12.30pm, proceeding on foot to the Mortuary Chapel, Dowdallshill (A91 F598), arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining St. Patrick’s Cemetery with his beloved wife Margaret.

The death has occurred of Jamie Darcy Kansas, USA and late of Jocelyn Grove, Dundalk., Dundalk, Louth
It is with great sadness that we share the death of Jamie, who passed away unexpectedly at his home in Emporia, Kansas, on 16th June 2025.
Jamie will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his loving parents, Jim and Briege, and by his cherished family: Conor and Anne, Liam and Paula, and Kate and Matthew. He was a beloved uncle to Kyle, Shay, Ava, Sarah, and Rebecca, and a dear nephew to Denis, David, and Frances. Jamie’s memory will be treasured by his cousins, Aaron and Meghan, as well as by his extended family, neighbours, and many friends in both Emporia, Kansas, and his hometown of Dundalk and by all who had the good fortune to know him.
A funeral service will take place in Dundalk, with further details to be confirmed in due course.
