The death has occurred of Joan Bailey (née Brennan) of Belfry Crescent and formerly of Castle Road, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in care of the Mater Hospital, Dublin, on 7 November 2023. Joan, beloved wife of the late Gerard. Loving Mother of Anne, Ciara, Gary and Niall. Nana of Stephen, Anne, Lynn, Niabh, Oisín, Ordhnaith, Ronain, Rebecca, Sean, Joshua, and Caoimhe. Great nana of Cameron, Lucy, Dylan and Fíadh. Sister of Sheila, Kathleen, Tom, Gerard and the late Bernadette, Michael, Nan, Maura and Pat.
Joan will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons in law Danny and Gene, daughters in law Rosemary and Margaret, brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, her devoted caregiver Olivia, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her home from 2pm to 8pm on Wednesday. Funeral Mass on Thursday afternoon at 2pm in St Joseph’s Redemptorist Church. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery. All enquires please phone Oisín Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals on 042 9334283.

The death has occurred of Vincent Gorman of Baltrasna, Ardee, Co Louth
At Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Monday 6 November 2023. Vincent will be sadly missed by his devoted and loving wife Rosemary, his sons Gary, Robert and Shane, his cherished grandchildren Emmett, Ellen, Grace, Pearce and Sophie, daughters-in-law Mary, Ruth and Molly, his brothers Peter and Tony, sister Maura, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his home in Baltrasna, Ardee on Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday evening from his home at 5:40pm to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee arriving for 6pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am, burial afterwards in Old St. Mary's Cemetery, Ardee, Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Ardee Hospice Homecare.
