Paul passed away peacefully on Monday, 29th June 2026, on his 90th Birthday, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at Curam Nursing Home, surrounded by the love and support of his family. Beloved husband of the late May (née Smart), dear father of Eamonn and David, and much-loved granda to Michelle, Ami, Christine, Holly, Lisa, and the late David and brother of Olive and Anne. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his sons, daughter-in-law Moira, Eamonn’s partner Marion, cousin Dinah, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Paul will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk (A91 XW66) from 3.00pm until 7.00pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, (A91 T623) arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery (A91 F598).

Mary Mc Loughlin née Dunne, Sunday’s Gate, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Lourdes Square. 29th June 2026, Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband John and daughter-in-law Maggie. Beloved mam of John, Mandy and Paul. Mary will be sadly missed by her sons and daughter, son-in-law Kevin, daughter-in-law Sandra, grandchildren Séan, Dearbhla, Ben, Ceili, Cían and Cáoimhe, great-grandchildren Thea, Zack, Seth, Cayson and Kia, siblings Betty, John and Pat, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing in Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Thursday from 4pm until 7pm.Funeral Mass at 11.30am on Friday morning in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, which can be viewed live at www.stpetersdrogheda.ie.
Burial will take place afterwards in St Peters Cemetery.

Kitty Maxwell, née McCann, Cherrymount, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Boyle O’ Reilly, Drogheda. 29th June 2026. Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Christopher and Kathleen and sister Rea. Beloved wife of Liam and loving Mam to Ian and Ciara. Kitty will be very sadly missed by her husband, son, daughter, daughter-in-law Louise, son-in-law Glenn, grandchildren Thomas, Jack, Evan, Hayley and Conor, sister Bridie, brother Paddy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.
