Dromin Fundraisers Cycle & Walk for Ardee Hospice returns this month

Takes place on Saturday 17 June
The Dromin Fundraiser's annual cycle in aid of Ardee Hospice Homecare makes a return on Saturday 17 June starting at 10am, with organisers making an appeal for the community to come out and support a great cause.
This year's event, which has been taking place since 2009, will also see a 7km walk included as part of the event. To date Dromin Fundraisers have raised over €150,000 for the Ardee Hospice through the annual event, including €10,000 in 2022.
The cycle itself is 60km in length and registration begins at 8.30 at the Village Saloon, Dromin, on Saturday 17 June. Organisers say that a helmet is necessary for entry.
Admission to the event is €30 for cyclists and €15 for the walk, or whatever people can afford. A barbeque will be held upon the return to the Village Saloon, running until 8pm.
Last year's event saw a great turnout, with music after the cycle from Good Karma, a raffle with loads of great prizes and an auction for a bicycle
