Dundalk Chamber launches ‘Pick & Pace’ litter initiative
The students of O’Fiaich College, Colaiste Ris and the De La Salle have signed up
Dundalk Chamber School Mentorship Programme has developed this year with the launch of ‘Pick & Pace.’ Secondary Schools in Dundalk were invited to commit to weekly litter picks of the area around their schools with local businesses funding essential litter picking supplies.
The students of O’Fiaich College, Colaiste Ris and the De La Salle have signed up and are eager to start litter picking. The School Mentorship Programme Co-Ordinator Jenny Gray of Staffline Recruitment and Dundalk Tidy Town’s Helen Byrne invited Pick & Pace sponsors to come along when the supplies were being delivered to the schools.
Special thanks to sponsors Dromad Hire, Anord Mardix, Digiweb, The Shabra Group, Louth County Council and Baker Tilly Kirk.
