It's was -2° on the drive out to Carlingford Lough on Sunday, with a heavy fog coming in.

Divers from Dundalk Sub Aqua Search and Rescue were kitted up & ready for the chilly waters.

This was no ordinary recreational dive/or part of their continued training, but a compulsory fit to dive exercise, that all divers must undertake as part of CFT requirements.

28 Divers took part, of which they had to tow a diver in distress, snorkel, swim to shore among things.
