Dundalk's The Rum House and ZOMA score viral hit with Oasis themed video
Dundalk venue leverages Oasis hype to promote new Premier League season in their front bar
The Rum House, one of Dundalk's premier entertainment venues, in collaboration with award-winning local marketing agency ZOMA, has achieved massive digital success with their latest promotional video. The Oasis-themed skit, featuring Rum House staff and designed to kick off live viewing of the new Premier League season at the venue, has gone viral, garnering over 60,000 views across all social media platforms to wide acclaim.
The highly engaging video features a humorous portrayal of exuberant Oasis fans "running riot" within The Rum House, and terrorising barman played by Ross Kehoe.
"We wanted to create something truly memorable and fun to announce the return of Premier League football to our front bar," said Ross Kehoe, Manager at The Rum House.
"Teaming up with a brilliant local agency like ZOMA allowed us to produce something genuinely funny and authentic. The funniest part has been all the jokes about Ricky and I’s acting skills. I might just hang up my manager's hat and pursue an acting career."
“The concept was to create something that felt inherently local and funny, not just another ad," said ZOMA Videographer Jack O'Connor. "With Oasis playing in Ireland, the timing was perfect. We knew that pairing the well known Ricky and Ross from The Rum House in front of the camera was always going to be funny. The viral response proves that authentic, relatable content is what truly cuts through the noise."
Football fans are invited to experience the electric atmosphere at The Rum House's front bar for the full Premier League season, complete with half-time food baskets, all inspired by the energy of Dundalk's latest viral sensation.
