The Oriel Centre at Dundalk Goal on Saturday 25 March

Eleanor McEvoy will be making her way to the intimate settings of The Oriel Centre, Dundalk Goal on Saturday 25 March for what will be a very special night of musicianship, song and storytelling.

Eleanor McEvoy achieved star status in Ireland in 1992 when her song "A Woman's Heart" was the title track for the A Woman's Heart anthology album.  A Woman’s Heart has since gone on to become the best-selling album in Irish history.

Such is the regard and love for this album that last year Eleanor, Maura O'Connell and Wallis Bird brought "A Woman's Heart Orchestrated" with the RTE Concert Orchestra to the stage to much acclaim.

Eleanor McEvoy's critically acclaimed canon of work spans sixteen albums and appearances on numerous compilation albums. She has also had numerous cover versions of her songs by performers such as Emmylou Harris, Mary Black, Phil Coulter, Mary Coughlan, Bella Hardy, (BBC folk singer of the year) Eliza Carthy, Derek Ryan and Jack L.

Have just returned from a string of sold-out dates in the UK, Eleanor's performance in the Oriel Centre will be one of the first ones on her Irish tour.  Tickets are €30 and with only a handful of tickets left, early booking is recommended. Tickets are available from www.orielcentre.ie or from the Oriel Centre reception.
