Footpath closed on busy Louth street as safety precaution

Louth County Council says the closure is required for inspection works
The public footpath at the Tholsel Building on Shop Street, Drogheda, has been closed due to a building issue that requires inspection and safety measures.
Signage is in place directing pedestrians to use the footpath on the opposite side of the road.
Louth County Council say these temporary measures are necessary to facilitate inspection works and ensure public safety.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank the public for their cooperation,” the Council said.
