Gardaí in Louth have renewed their appeal for the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Anthony Hanlon, who is reported missing from Drogheda since early December 2024.

Anthony was 39 years old when he was reported missing and he would now be 40. It is known that Anthony attended an appointment in Drogheda on 3rd December 2024 and he has not been seen since that date.

Anthony is described as being 5 foot 5 inches in height and of slim build. He has balding, auburn hair and blue eyes.

It is believed that he may have been wearing a grey beanie hat, black tracksuit bottoms, black runners and a tartan wool lumberjack shirt at the time, as in the 2nd image of Anthony shared on our social media accounts.

Gardaí and Anthony’s family are concerned for his well-being.

As the first anniversary of Anthony’s disappearance approaches Gardaí are now appealing to anyone who may have any information, irrespective of how relevant or not they may believe this information to be, in respect of Anthony’s whereabouts or who may have spoken to him in the early days of December 2024, to contact Drogheda Garda Station on 041 9874200, the Garda Confidential Line on  1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
