Go ahead given for completion of Racecourse Meadows in Dundalk

45 new homes to be built
Louth County Council has given the go ahead for the planned completion of the partially constructed and occupied Racecourse Meadows residential development in Dundalk.
Racecourse Road Developments Limited applied to Louth County Council in November, for planning permission to build 45 residential dwellings comprising nine apartments and 36 houses in the south & western part of the development, at Racecourse Meadows, Racecourse Road, Dundalk.
The planned houses are in terraced and semi-detached format and are all two storeys in height. The proposed apartments are accommodated in three separate three storey buildings, with all upper floor apartments provided with balconies.
The proposed development also provides for bin stores, car and bicycle parking. Vehicular access to the development is provided off the permitted and constructed access off Racecourse Road.
Louth County Council granted conditional planning permission for the development on 19 January 2024. Completion of the residential development will bring to 149, the number of homes at Racecourse Meadows.
