Louth author publishes 12th children's book

Poolbeg Press is delighted to present the next instalment in their Hands on History Series in a book written by Drogheda man Rod Smith.
Rod lives in Malahide with his family and dog Sandy. He is also a qualified FAI Football Referee in children’s football.
Twelve-year old Liam O’Malley can travel through time with his sister Aoife.
In their first adventure, along with their friends Phelim, Seamus and their magical horse Ferdia they met Oliver Cromwell in 1649.
In their second adventure they lived through the experience of World War 1.
In their third adventure, a mysterious photograph suggests something is not right in the world of history. Follow our group as they travel back to try to solve a puzzle in time.
To do this, they will have to witness the rise and fall of one of the most evil men who ever lived - Adolf Hitler.
Follow their flight - as they escape from the beaches of Dunkirk in 1940 as the German army advances.
Join their fight - as they attempt to save a Jewish friend from the vicious SS and The Gestapo.
Experience their fright - as they get caught up in Operation Valkyrie, an assassination plot against Hitler, where failure means death to all.
Actions have consequences. The stakes could not be higher.
Time and the history of the world itself is at risk…
