Easydry, a Louth based company which is a global leader in sustainable, single-use towel technology, has won the prestigious Green Technology Award at the Green Awards 2025.

It marks the second time the B Corp Certified company, which was founded in Dundalk, has received this honour, with its first win in 2021. This latest victory also represents Easydry’s fifth Green Awards trophy, reinforcing its continued leadership in environmental innovation.

The Green Awards, Ireland’s premier platform for celebrating environmental excellence, brought together top businesses and innovators to highlight outstanding contributions to sustainability. The awards ceremony, held at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, showcased companies making a tangible impact in driving a greener future.

Easydry was shortlisted in four key categories, which it says, underscores its "unwavering commitment to sustainability":

  • Green Small Organisation of the Year
  • Sustainable Water Achievement Award
  • Green Technology Award
  • Green Transformation Award

The company says that winning the Green Technology Award once again highlights its commitment to developing single-use, biodegradable, and compostable towels, offering a proven, scalable, and market-successful alternative to traditional cotton towels. Easydry’s innovation helps businesses significantly reduce water consumption, energy use, and textile waste, positioning the company at the forefront of sustainable business solutions.

The judging panel was highly impressed, stating they were “blown away by its innovation and potential”, further noting that Easydry’s submission “showcased clear evidence of creativity, market potential and solutions that demonstrate active innovation – truly impressive.”

“We are absolutely thrilled to receive this prestigious award for the second time,” said Anne Butterly, CEO & Founder of Easydry. “Sustainability has been at the core of Easydry since day one, and as we celebrate our 20th anniversary, achieving our 5th Green Award is an incredible milestone. Our technology is truly making a difference, and this recognition motivates us to continue innovating for a greener future.”

With a global footprint across industries such as hairdressing, beauty, fitness, and hospitality, Easydry says its sustainable towels have already saved millions of litres of water worldwide. The company says it remains dedicated to pioneering environmentally responsible solutions that align with the evolving needs of businesses striving for sustainability.

As sustainability continues to shape the future of business, Easydry says it wishes to extend its congratulations to all fellow finalists and winners "who are leading the way in creating a more eco-conscious world".
