Louth senator welcomes new Council Library and Community Space for Dunleer

Senator Erin McGreehan has said the new Council library and community space which will be based at the former Bank of Ireland building in Dunleer will be an invaluable asset for the local community.
Louth County Council has recently purchased the former Bank of Ireland building in Dunleer for the provision of a new Council library and community space.
The purchase was funded under the Building Acquisition Measure of the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
Senator McGreehan said:
“I’m delighted to see this new library and community space which will be based in the old Bank of Ireland Building in Dunleer.
"A lot of work is going into making Dunleer a better place to live and do business and this project was made possible through Government funding of the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
"The new space will be a new and improved library space with better access to services alongside a community space to support local people.
“Dunleer was recently allocated €100k to revitalise the Town Centre and work is ongoing on a masterplan for the town.
"I want to thank Louth County Council for their work on these projects and I look forward to continuing to work with them to make Dunleer a better place to live, work, and do business.”
