Louth Weather: Showers and sunny spells

Rain will turn persistent for a time this morning, clearing southeastwards with sunny spells and a few showers in the afternoon.

Highest temperatures 14 to 16 degrees, and feeling a good bit cooler as the winds veer northwest and increase moderate to fresh gusty in the afternoon.

Dry and clear for much of the country Tuesday night, it will be cloudier in northern and western parts with scattered showers.

Lowest temperatures 5 to 7 degrees in easing west to northwest winds.
