Music-lovers in for a treat at Toales in Dundalk this weekend

Plenty of live music at Toales with Geansaí and Floating Cloud taking to the stage
There is plenty of live music again in Toales in Dundalk this weekend.
Friday 28th June - Geansaí + Ines Khai + Rory Shaun - Doors 8pm - Admission €5
Geansaí brings his own inimitable style of parochial grunge folk, wrapped in a warm wooly jumper.
An aspiring discontent, Geansaí draws his inspiration from the various crises evident in modern Ireland, and the ever rising price of spuds.
Expect expertly crafted songs weaving humour, humanity, and an all-pervading sense of unease with modern life.
Wrap up tight because it’s a day for a Geansaí.
Support on the night comes from Ines Khai who's Creole songs, incredible vocal range, soulful voice and unique guitar style seduces her audience every time.
Also on the bill is Rory Shaun, fresh from his recent Toales Fireside Session gig, with alt 90's-inspired songwriting and personal, introspective lyrics.
All this for just a fiver, doors open 8pm.
Saturday 29th June - Fireside Sessions present Floating Cloud + Charlie Skipp. Free Admission, starts 9.30pm
oales' Fireside Sessions is an acoustic club that showcases the best in acoustic acts, always inside the bar, always free admission, and is proud to welcome Floating Cloud, made up of two very well known Dundalk musicians, Pete Johnson and Robbie Sharkey, who have been a constant presence on the vibrant local music scene for nearly three decades, playing music that has a uniquely distinctive voice and perspective on life in the town.
Expect smart, catchy acoustic tunes, harmonies, and Jazz!
Support comes Pierce Quinn, a local singer/songwriter whose low key, classic early 20th century style blues sound is a Toales' favourite.
This is a free event and starts at 9.30pm
