Musical comedy Thursdays with Elvis comes to Louth
Featuring hits from Aretha Franklin, The Ronettes, and Elvis
Lana, a single mother struggling with the cost of living and surviving on Universal Credit, finds solace every Thursday night with her friend Mary Magdalene Miriam. Together, they dress up, share a drink, and listen to Lana's mother's 50s and 60s music collection.
But one evening, they get the shock of a lifetime when Elvis appears, returning every week thereafter. Is he a real apparition, a figment of her imagination, or an impersonator sent by Lana’s Elvis-obsessed father?
Featuring iconic hits from legends like Aretha Franklin, Etta James, The Ronettes, and Elvis himself as her unlikely companion, will Lana escape her financial struggles? Or is she caught in a trap forever?
