New housing development planned for Tallanstown

Plans are underway for a new housing development in Tallanstown, with planning permission sought from the local planning authority.

Rainberry Limited has applied to Louth County Council for planning permission for the development at Rathbrist Td, Tallanstown, Co Louth.

The proposed development comprises eight, two-storey, three bed dwellings, six of which are semi-detached, and two detached. The planning application also provides for items including connection and extension to existing road and footpath network and all associated siteworks.

The application, which was received by Louth Council on 3 May, is at a pre-validation stage. A previous application by the same applicant was made for a similar development in March of this year but was deemed invalid, as no site notice was observed by the local planning authority on the date of site inspection.
