Foodies can get some valuable advice from David Kelly, Head Chef at Scholars Townhouse Hotel, as he talks about his passion for cooking, working with local produce and suppliers, and what he believes young chefs should know as they begin their careers.

For this month’s In the Bag feature, we take a peek at the everyday essentials carried by local celebrant, writer and teacher Aoife Curran-Butler, who certainly has plenty to keep her busy.

Fashion lovers are also in for a treat as we chat to Darren Guest, owner of independent business Pinstripe Punk. Darren tells us all about his passion for helping grooms find the perfect suit and creating a look that captures the personality and vibe of their big day.

We also meet Oscar Diaz, Education and Operations Manager at the Enterprise FabLab at Dundalk’s Creative Spark, who shares his fascinating journey from Yucatán, Mexico, to Ireland. He talks about the highs and lows of making such a big move and how he has combined his expertise and creativity to help create something extraordinary.
