Huge Congratulations to the cast of Matilda from Réalt na Mara who took part in Féile Dhún Dealgan in An Táin during Seachtaine na Gaeilge. Féile Dhún Dealgan, a local Irish language drama competition, took place on Thursday 9th March at An Táin Theatre. The event, organised by Cumann Scoildrámaíochta, saw local primary and secondary school students showcase their talent on stage and seek to impress the judges. Réalt na Mara won Best Choreography Performance of the day with amazing energy, singing and dancing in Irish. Ruarc O’Hanlon won Best Actor of the day. The children put in a lot of work in rehearsing at Réalt na Mara with their teacher Ms Larkin. Best of luck to the cast of Matilda who are through to the Leinster finals in Mullingar at the end of the month, as well as to all the local finalists. Below photo: Arthur Kinahan
