Planning refused for apartments at Vincent Avenue in Dundalk
Louth County Council refuses planning permission
Louth County Council has refused planning permission for the construction of four apartments at Vincent Avenue in Dundalk.
Mr Donal McGeough had applied to the local authority for planning permission for the development of lands rear of 1 and 2 Vincent Avenue. The development would have included the demolition of existing sheds/stores and the construction of a three storey building at the site.
Accommodation at the new three storey building would have comprised a store and apartment at ground floor level, two apartments at first floor level and one apartment at second floor level.
Two submissions had been made objecting to the development, for reasons including overlooking into another property, as well as a lack of parking being provided in the proposed development.
Louth County Council made the decision to refuse planning on 8 December.
