SIX NATIONS - Ireland v England: Preview, squad update, time and where to watch

A massive weekend lies ahead for the Irish rugby team as they host England at the Aviva Stadium this Saturday (March 18) - knowing a victory would claim the Six Nations Grand Slam title.

PREVIEW

Andy Farrell’s men are favourites to complete a Six Nations clean sweep when Steve Borthwick’s English outfit visits Dublin on Saturday.

England travel across the Irish Sea on the back of their biggest Twickenham loss to Les Bleus - a 53-10 humiliation - which emphatically wiped them out of title contention.

France are the only side that can catch Ireland. They welcome Wales on Saturday afternoon.

SQUAD UPDATE

Garry Ringrose will take no further part in this year’s Championship.

Iain Henderson is due to undergo surgery on a fractured forearm sustained in the first half of last weekend's game. The uncapped Ross Molony is added to the squad to provide additional second row cover.

Both Dan Sheehan and Ronan Kelleher sustained shoulder injuries against Scotland and both will be managed in camp this week. Ulster’s Tom Stewart has been brought in as cover.

Caelan Doris’ hip complaint will also be managed in camp this week.
