This week's Dundalk Democrat front page: 268 acre solar farm gets go ahead

This week's Dundalk Democrat is in shops now, featuring:

• Louth County Council has given the go ahead for a solar farm on a site of c.108.6 ha (268.4 acres), just under five kilometres from Ardee, in spite of a huge number of submissions lodged voicing concerns, and objecting to the development, from local residents and Louth County Councillors.
• Teachers in Monksland NS in Carlingford are forced to eat their lunch in their cars due to capacity issues in the school resulting in there being no space for a staff room, according to Fianna Fáil TD for Louth Erin McGreehan.
• Man (51) sexually assaulted three women in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda Circuit Court heard.
