Wet to begin on Tuesday, with rain heavy at times.

The rain will clear during the morning.

Showers will follow, some heavy and possibly thundery, especially in the southern counties.

It will brighten up as the day goes on with sunny spells developing in most parts by evening.

Highs of 17 to 19 degrees. Winds will be mostly light to moderate and variable in direction, but fresh and gusty southerly winds will affect southeastern coasts.

Many areas dry with clear spells and just well scattered showers. Lows of 9 to 11 degrees with light to moderate northwest breezes.
