Two men charged over armed robbery in Louth

Gardaí have charged the two men (aged in their 30s) who were arrested in relation to the armed robbery of a business in Drogheda, on Tuesday, 9th May.

Gardai say one man entered the business premises armed with what is understood to be a knife and threatened staff before leaving the premises with a sum of cash.

No persons were injured.

Both men are due to appear before Drogheda District Court this morning, Thursday 11th May at 10.30am.
