On Monday, July 24, Kilkenny County Council held a civic-reception for the Kilkenny senior hurlers in UPMC Nowlan Park.
The event marked the team's 2023 Leinster and All-Ireland Championship runs which came to a disappointing end in the final, losing by 0-30 to 2-15 to Limerick.
However, Kilkenny supporters came in large numbers to show their appreciation to Derek Lyng and his panel.
