Clare Arts Office, in conjunction with Cultúrlann Sweeney, Kilkee, is hosting ‘The Heart of the Ocean’ by Beata Rosik.

Ms Rosik is originally from Poland and for the past 18 years has made Ennis her home. Photography has been her passion since arriving in Ireland, with her portfolio including landscapes from Clare and beyond. The creative's greatest artistic focus is fine art portrait photography.

Beata has proudly represented Ireland in international competitions, winning over 130 medals, most of them gold, in categories such as portrait, child, open colour and black and white. She holds the highest FIAP distinction, the FIAP Blue Pin, and has been recognised multiple times as the best photographer in competition.

Her work has been exhibited worldwide in post-competition exhibitions, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Bangladesh, India, Slovenia, Romania, Sri Lanka, Cyprus, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Georgia. In 2022, Ms Rosik was honored with the County Clare Residency Award, which enabled her to present her work at exhibitions throughout the county.

Her guiding motto is: “My best photograph is the one I have yet to take” with Beata warmly inviting the public to explore her work at the Cultúrlann Sweeney exhibition, which runs until February 14.
