A NUMBER of Clare companies are set to attend a regional celebratory dinner and awards ceremony for Mid-West businesses.

Described as the “most anticipated event of the year”, the Limerick Chamber President's Dinner will be held on Friday, November 17 at Limerick Strand Hotel.

The dinner will see 400 ‘distinguished’ guests from Clare and the wider Mid-West region attend, with the annual Regional Business Awards being held on the night, too.

These awards recognise the achievements of a wide range of businesses across various categories, with an expected 20 finalists battling it out to take the title home, all made possible through the sponsorship of The Shannon Airport Group.

“During the evening I will be announcing the recipient of this year’s Presidents Award, honouring a person who embodies the spirit of the business community and who has had a significant impact on the Mid-West,” said Limerick Chamber President, Miriam O’Connor.

“Traditionally, the identity of the President’s Award recipient remains top secret until the reveal on-stage, however I can say that this year’s honouree is highly accomplished, recognised nationally for their leadership ability, incredibly passionate about the team they lead and has had a tremendous impact on the entire Mid-West.”

One of the evening's most coveted accolades is the Overall Business of the Year award, which is presented to the company with the most compelling application, as determined by our panel of  judges from the pool of entries into the 2023 Regional Business Awards.
