Clare County Council have given the green light for a new community care centre to be built in Shannon.
The application was made by ClareCare, the county's longest running charity, who operate a number of support services. They have offices based in Ennis, Ennistymon, Killaloe, Kilrush and Shannon.
Now, the organisation has secured planning permission for the new two-storey building, to be located in Bealach Brí, Tullyvarraga.
The development is expected to feature a new vehicular entrance, ESB substation, roof mounted PV panels, associated signage and potentially illuminated signage along with all associated siteworks.
Clare County Council granted planning permission for the centre subject to 11 conditions.
