Clare County Council confirms extension of Ennis road closure until the end of September
MOTORISTS in Ennis are being advised that a temporary road closure to facilitate advance works on a watermain upgrade has been extended until the end of September.
Clare County Council has published a public notice, under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, confirming its decision to extend the closure at Clonroad Road - from Station Road roundabout to the Toberteascain junction - until Friday, September 29.
The local authority says vehicular access for residents will be maintained / provided where practicable.
Local diversions are in place via Station Road, Old Gaol Road, Ardlea Road & the R458.
