Clare County Council seek to install traffic calming measures at busy junction

CLARE County Council (CCC) have proposed the installation of traffic calming measures at a busy junction.

If approved, the junction of R471 and L7112 at Pound Street in Sixmilebridge will see the following traffic calming measures:

Construction of a raised table, and controlled pedestrian crossing with belisha beacons on the western side of the R471 / L7112 Junction.

Tightening of the junction, and installation of tactile paving together with all associated signs and road markings.
