Gardaí in County Clare are investigating a number of fraud incidents this week and each incident involved a different type of fraud.
One type of fraud under investigation involves fraudulent notes.
The injured party in this incident advertised a mobile phone for sale online.
When they met the buyer they received a number of notes which turned out to be fake.
Gardaí in Clare are also investigating incidents of fraud through social media, and bogus phone calls.
