Council says traffic management plan will be in place for six weeks
Motorists in Ennis are being advised of traffic restrictions over the next six weeks to facilitate roadworks.
Beginning this Tuesday, Clare County Council says the works will take place on the Lifford Road, Ennis - from St. Joseph's Hospital to the Clon Road roundabout.
The works, which will continue until March 22, will be carried out daily (Monday to Friday), between 9.30am until 9pm.
Delays can be expected - particularly during the peak commuter period each evening.
The local authority says a traffic management system will be in place for the duration and that, where possible, local and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
