A NUMBER of motorists have been taught a lesson after they were caught speeding close to a primary school in County Clare.

The detections, near Kilmurry National School, were made by members of the Roads Policing Unit who were carrying out high visibility speed checks as part of the #VisionZero strategy to reduce road fatalities.
