‘Fite Fuaite’ is a new art exhibition coming to Ennis by a West Clare Artist Collective of four artists.
Open to the public from now until October 18, 2025, at Clare Museum in Ennis, this event highlights the collective's shared vision.
This exhibition, showcasing the individual expressions of the West Clare Artist Collective, explores the intertwined connections between land, nature, and the artists themselves through various mediums.
Founded in 2023 by Ceri Garfield, Áine Rynne, Claire Frawley, and Caroline Lernihan, the West Clare Artist Collective was created to foster creative collaboration, where ideas, techniques, and inspiration are exchanged.
Their latest exhibition, ‘Fite Fuaite’, reflects the theme ‘Connections with Land, Nature, and One Another’.
Ceri Garfield’s work emphasizes a deep bond with the natural world. Through pencil and watercolour, she captures the ever-changing landscapes around her, driven by a passion for regeneration.
Áine Rynne’s mixed media paintings draw inspiration from the unique colours and light of West Clare. Her abstract representations of land and nature explore the interplay of vibrant hues and bold mark-making.
Claire Frawley’s acrylic paintings blend the mystical with the real, featuring intricate depictions of people and animals infused with magical elements, brought to life through vivid colours and meticulous detail.
Caroline Lernihan’s oil paintings focus on the botanical and floral forms she observes during her daily walks. Through her detailed works, she invites the viewer to appreciate the subtle beauty of nature up close.
