Warning issued by Clare Tourist Office that 'abuse to the staff will not be tolerated'
Should anyone have a comment or complaint, it can be directed to the office's email address
The Scarriff Community Council have issued a firm reminder across their social media stating that any type of abuse to the staff in their tourist office and beyond will not be tolerated whatsoever.
A spokesperson for the organisation said online, "Scarriff Community Council would like to remind everyone that the tourist office in Scarriff is a community run operation and we are very lucky to have this facility in the area.
"Any type of abuse to the staff will not be tolerated," they concluded.

However, they did note that should anyone have a complaint or comment, it can be directed to [email protected] where it will be dealt with respectfully and in-line with official procedures.
Taking to the comments of this post, one woman said, "Nobody should have to experience any type of abuse in one's workplace. There is no excuse for same. I spoke with two employees recently in the market house and they are so helpful with great personalities to help our tourists and locals in the area.
"It will not be tolerated in our community," she concluded.
