A total of seven Limerick properties to rent in the city, according to DAFT.ie
THERE are seven properties to rent in Limerick city this Tuesday night, according to property site Daft.ie.
This number is out of a total of 19 in the entirety of Limerick city and county, with prices to rent starting at €1,000 a month for a property in Abbeyfeale - which is 62.1km from Limerick city, as per Daft.ie website.
The latest news this Tuesday evening is that the Government is committed to providing renters ‘safety nets’, but is not wavering from the decision to temporarily lift the eviction ban.
The Government has agreed to discuss the possibility of extending the ban on terminations of tenancy in the Cabinet, following opposition parties and campaigners appealing to Ministers to readjust the motion.
In addition, a Sinn Féin motion calling for an extension to January was debated in the Dáil this Tuesday evening.
A vote is set to be held on the counter-motion this Wednesday, 22 March. The temporary ban on evictions, which was introduced in November, will run out at the end of the month if it stays in line with the current Government proposals.
The highest rental price in Limerick at the moment is €2,800 per month for a four bed, three bathroom property in Adare, according to Daft.ie.
