Ballyhoura Country Tidy Towns Awards take place this month in Limerick
THE ANNUAL Ballyhoura Country Tidy Towns Awards will take place this year in the Millennium Centre in Caherconlish on Thursday, September 21 at 7:00pm.
The awards have gone from strength to strength and are now in their 33rd year, with over 35 entrants competing for eight prizes in four categories for this year’s awards.
Prizes will be awarded based on improvements in marks received by Tidy Towns groups in the Ballyhoura area.
Caherconlish Tidy Towns Group will also lead a short walk, showcasing elements of their Tidy Towns plan, and there will be plenty of opportunity for refreshments and catching up with other Tidy Towns groups.
The Ballyhoura Country Tidy Towns Awards attract Tidy Towns groups from across the Ballyhoura area of South East Limerick & North Cork.
The 2022 Awards saw over 100 people in attendance, representing almost 30 Tidy Towns groups.
