Big gigs coming to Limerick in 2024

SEVERAL legendary musicians are set to rock the Treaty City in 2024 - here's a quick round-up of what not to miss.
The Smiths' own Johnny Marr will be performing live at The Big Top on Monday, June 24. The last time he performed in Limerick, Marr was on stage with The Smiths in 1984 at the old Savoy.
In July, Thomond Park will be busy as three big acts will perform at the stadium on consecutive nights.
On Friday, July 12, Snow Patrol will play their only Irish gig of 2024.
The next day, Paolo Nutini will perform at Thomond Park too. In August 2022, the Scottish singer-songwriter played an acclaimed show in the Milk Market.
Oasis' legend Liam Gallagher will perform as part of his upcoming tour, Definitely Maybe: 30 years.
The tour will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Oasis's all-conquering and influential debut album. He will play on Sunday, July 14.
Rock will not be the only genre taking over Limerick in the new year.
On February 8, Niamh Regan will be playing in Dolans Upstairs as part of her Irish tour.
On February 28, Paul Young will play live at University Concert Hall.
On March 9, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lyra will be performing live at The Big Top.
On April 24, Gemma Hayes will be taking over Dolans Warehouse as part of her Spring 2024 tour.
TUS Gaelic Grounds and King John's Castle will also host a number of gigs and concerts next summer.
Live at the Docklands returns in August.
