BREAKING: Forbes to host major global event in Limerick next month

AN INTERNATIONAL event is coming to Limerick next month, which will gather young entrepreneurs and highlight the “rich business landscape” of the city.
Over a decade after it launched in the US, Forbes’ 30 Under 30 will be coming to Limerick’s Strand Hotel on Monday, June 26 for a live forum - the event will run from 10am - 5pm
The in-person event will feature local entrepreneurs, business school students and Forbes 30 Under 30 honorees – including those from the newly-minted Forbes Under 30 Europe class of 2023.
Forbes's 30 Under 30 is an annual list of next-generation business leaders in every sector, ranked and published by worldwide famous business magazine, Forbes.
The next Limerick held event will bring members together to “spotlight Ireland’s economic success and growth potential”, said Randall Lane, Chief Content Officer of Forbes.
“The opportunities for business and innovation in Ireland are abundant, and we’re excited to help amplify those on an international scale, gathering the world’s brightest young leaders in the heart of Limerick,” Mr Lane said.
As well as the 30 Under 30 event on June 26, there will be local tours of several of the city’s landmarks on offer for guests, too.
The upcoming Forbes’ event will “allow the world to witness the convergence of young talent, investment opportunities, and industrial innovation”, according to Mayor of Limerick Cllr Francis Foley, as he said “Limerick continues to shape the future of business in Ireland”.
The 30 Under 30 has now expanded to be an iconic global media franchise with international events, print magazines, digital lists, regional chapters, social media and a community of more than 10,000 young entrepreneurs.
