CONSTRUCTION consultancy firm Mitchell McDermott has opened new offices in the heart of Limerick.

Its new local base will be at Bedford Row in the city centre.

Mitchell McDermott has worked on a number of high-profile building projects across the southern region in the last six months.

These include the ongoing Cleeve’s riverside quarter plans for O’Callaghan Strand, as well as new residential developments in Carey’s Road and Dock Road.

Further afield, company staff are working on Cork’s Moxy Hotel and the city’s event centre.

Completed projects region-wide include the provision of 1,800 student bed spaces, over 330 residential spaces and almost 200 hotel rooms.

Abbeyfeale man Eoin McEnery, heads up the new Limerick office.

“We always had a strong portfolio of clients across the Mid-West and south but having the office here will enable us to better serve new and existing projects while availing of opportunities to grow the business across various sectors,” Mr McEnery explained.
