Delays expected following road traffic collision on M20

A SECTION of the M20 motorway is restricted to one lane following a road traffic collision.

The single vehicle collision took place at approximately 1pm on Saturday afternoon, near Junction 5 on the M20 at Patrickswell.

Appliances from fire stations in Limerick city, Rathkeale and Cappamore are in attendance at the scene, along with gardaí and ambulance services.

There are no reports yet of any serious injuries.

The road remains open to traffic but one lane is closed on the south-bound Limerick to Cork side.
