SUPPORTERS are waiting for confirmation to see if the Limerick and Cork match goes ahead this Sunday afternoon in Mallow due to heavy fog.
Throw-in at the sold-out Co-op Superstores Munster Hurling League tie was due to be 2pm.
Limerick Live sports reporter John Keogh, who is in Mallow, said they are waiting for confirmation to see if Limerick and Cork goes ahead. He said fans and media are waiting to be granted access to ground.
"The fog is lifting but slowly," said John.
The fixture in Mallow is the first that John Kiely's side will face since the 2023 All-Ireland final win over Kilkenny last July.
