It’s quite possible that herding sheep was easier for gardai than directing some motorists

GARDAI must have thought the wool was being pulled over their eyes after getting a call-out to a flock of sheep on a busy road in Corbally.

Upon arrival, attending officers may have been better served by studying in Salesian Agricultural College instead of Templemore.

A post on the An Garda Siochana Limerick social media pages says that you never know what a typical day in work entails in An Garda Siochana!

“Ardnacrusha gardai and Mayorstone gardai ended up becoming temporary shepherds in Corbally the other day.

“On arrival we were treated with a wooly reception but all sheep arrived safely at their destination,” reads the post.

In two shakes of a lamb's tail, matters were resolved by gardai with minimal delays for motorists.
