Free festive concert for charity in Limerick city
WHAT HAS become a festive tradition, Limerick Gospel Choir are warming up their vocal chords as they prepare for their annual concert.
The charity Christmas concert, A Feast of Christmas Songs & Carols, will see funds raised for local charity, NorthStar Family Support Project.
The concert will be held in St Michael’s Church, Denmark St, Limerick on Sunday, December 17 at 6pm. Entry is free and all ages are welcome.
The chosen charity supports families of people suffering the effects of substance misuse.
Triona O’Connor, PRO of the choir, said: “It is always such a treat to be a part of, it is a great feeling that we can give back to the community, especially during the Christmas season.”
Special guests on the night are the Thomand primary school choir, who will join in on the festive fun.
